@Krieghund Thank you for the swift reply. I don’t think that thought crossed my opponent’s mind (we usually play Global, so the idea of attacking Germany…and leaving oneself open to counterattack…is not on the radar).
Zombies is a different game.
I’m a noob , so pls go easy. Played zombies for the first time on 1942, 2 last night. I got the plane tech, but not sure why it’s an advantage. After combat with another player, does combat stop, after you kill all his forces while zo.bies are still in the combat? We played that if you wanted tou could keep combat going to try to clear zombies? So my plane being able to go for another round confuses me. Tia[link text](link url)
Welcome, fisher1973!
You are allowed to continue fighting zombies after all enemy units are destroyed, but only if you have land units remaining. Also, an attack consisting only of air units against only zombies must be stopped after one round of combat. See page 22 of the Rulebook. The Air-D.O.T.s tech allows one additional round of zombie clearing if you have only air units.
@Krieghund thx found it
Air DOTS:
Additional round …
So this implies that if you start an attack with air units only you may attack for two rounds if you have this Tech-4?
Correct.
Thanks for clarifying this. I know this was not 100 % clear to many players. I hope this will be added to the FAQ eventually.
(thanks for fast reply BTW)
I’m not sure I see any ambiguity here, so I don’t think it needs to be in the FAQ.
