Several months ago we reported rumors of an new Axis & Allies board game in the works. Today there is exciting news, Avalon Hill was finally announced that Axis & Allies Guadalcanal will be the next A&A board game and will be released in September 2007.
The game has been designed by Larry Harris and it appears that it may have a similar battlesystem as Axis & Allies Battle of the Bulge. Like Battle of the Bulge and the supplies game mechanic it looks like Guadalcanal may also have another unique game mechanic to give the Guadalcanal game a historical feel. The game will include air, land, and sea units and battles. Stay tuned for more details as they arrive.
