| Avalon Hill and Wizards of the Coast have revealed more information about the upcoming new release of Axis & Allies Anniversary Edition. First off, the box art has been revealed, click the link to the left for a larger sample. The first thing I noticed was a return to the red Axis & Allies logo. The release date for this new edition is October 23, 2008 and will be solf for $100. That seems like a lot of money for an Axis & Allies game but you’ll be getting a lot of board game for your money. The Anniversary edition will include a new Axis Country in the form of Italy. The board will be nearly 2 feet by 4 feet. A new cruiser class naval unit will be added and new sculpts for many of the units.
