Every year the three major Axis & Allies tournament events take place at Origins, GenCon Indy, and Spring Gathering X. Greg Smorey, the official organizer, recently sent out an email with the latest information for these events.
First, the date for Spring Gathering X has been set for April 13 and 14, 2012. Next, Greg is looking for feedback regarding what games you would like to play at the upcoming conferences with this Axis & Allies conference game survey.
Conference Dates:
Spring Gathering X in Cincinnati, OH from April 13 to 14, 2012
Origins in in Columbus, OH from May 30 to June 2, 2012
GenCon Indy in Indianapolis, IN from August 16 – 19, 2012

Greetings AA Advocates,
This is the first e-mail of the New Year and away we go. Registration for events for both Origins and GEN CON have begun and I am desperately trying to get all the information up on the SmoreySwamp as it arrives.
With that being said, some important items of note: Thanks to Jeff Auer, I have posted a new Axis & Allies Survey on the Swamp. With event registration taking place as we speak, I need to know what you guys want to do at the CON’s? So, if you would, take a look if you like and let us know what you think.
The Axis & Allies Spring Gathering X, 2012 will be held Friday and Saturday, April 13 & 14. Location, same place as last year. Art of War Gaming and Miniatures on Friday Night and Guardian Angels Church all day on Saturday. Event schedule and preregistration for events will be out by the end of January. We will be having our 1942 tournament as well as many of the other AA games including miniatures and War At Sea.
I am hoping to have a lot of the new product in as well for the event and will be raffling off more cool prizes include another Anniversary Ed. game. So, don’t miss out.
One last thing, I am trying to clean up my AA mailing list. If for whatever reason, you don’t read these and are no longer interested in being on my AA mailing list, please let me know and I will kindly remove as directed. Or if you know someone that would like to receive them and is currently not, but would like to, let me know and I would be happy to add them to the list…
