Can you land aircraft on enemy unoccupied territory to claim for your own during your combat move?
For example the allies leave the Solomon IS. undefended I land a plane during my combat move to claim it, or do I have to land troops there before I can land any planes.
Thanks
I like your idea. For A&AP I was thinking a long the lines of using supplies as well. For instance lets say a battleship gets damaged during combat it has to retreat to the nearest friendly naval base and use a supply token in order to get repaired.
supplies used for repairing ships
AC 3 tokens
BB 2 tokens
DD 1 token
If tokens are not available at the base then it has to wait until supplies arrive via transport.
The ships docked could be vulnerable to attack.
Any thoughts.
I just got the game today and I got red Japanese Infantry and brown Japanese ships, planes, and artillery. Its the same color as in A&AG.
Its my understanding the VPs scored at the end of each round is cumulative. i.e. The US has one airfield on Guadalcanal at the end of turn 1 for a total of 1 VP. At the end of turn 2 the US builds another on Guadalcanal and one more on Malaita for a total of 3 airfields. Now the way I’ve counted the total VP is 3 current airfields plus the 1 VP from the last round for a total of 4 VPs at the of turn 2. Is this correct?
I have a question concerning AA guns. Can you use AA Guns to attack planes in a adjacent sea zone?
