• I hate sports games in general, but a friend of mine brought this one over and I had a great time playing it.

I don’t know what systems it’s on but I played it on X Box (I know I still use an archaic, out dated consul system) I had a great time with it.

Has any one else tried it?

  • Is it a condensed form of soccer, a la NBA Jam in regards to professional basketball?  Those games usually turn out pretty good.

I’ve got a PS2, so don’t feel bad.  After playing a Wii, I’ve seriously considered getting one.  Either way, my opinion was that XBox was a much better system than PS2 - all the games I played that were on both systems were always superior on XBox.  I’m just glad they are both there to give gamers options.  The newest generation of game systems is just getting started, so you have plenty of time to catch up.

  • The next big system I want to get is the X Box 360. I want to wait till its been out a few years. When X Box came out it had some problems at first. The big games I want for it are:

    Gears of war

    Halo 3

    Oblivion

  • I played co-op (my favorite way to play games) Gears of War and finished it.  It was a pretty solid game - nothing revolutionary, but fun nonetheless.

I felt about the same with Halo 2, but I’m always critical of games.  I didn’t think they did enough to push the series, just enough to release a sequel.

  • Yeah, I thought Halo 2 was a let down. It would have been better if described as a expansion.

  • 2007 AAR League

gears of war was hard.  i didnt like it so much.  the movement in it was choppy and always having to duck wasnt always that fun.

halo 2 was a let down.  but still was an awesome game.  the story line was good, the movie idea for each level was good, but the ending ruins it all.  you feel like you’ve been gipped.  the third better be badass, i wonder if the flood hitched a ride to earth for the new one.

oblivion is by far the game a love/regret getting the most.  i refuse to let any more of my life be wasted playing that game.  all i did was go through the story mode.  forget the extra stuff, you could play forever.  except my buddy has been telling me of expansion downloads online.  hmmmmmmm.

and for the wii, all games rock on it.  boxing was the most fun so far, but i’ve only played three games.  and i didnt really like the football game.  to much man too much.

  • Yeah, the elder scrolls games seem to take controll of your life if you let them. Just ask my wife she’ll tell you.

  • I thought GoW was great for co-op.  We would pass around weapons so we each could check them out.  Got to say that nothing was better than the chainsaw bayonet though…

I played Halo 2 on a modded X-Box I borrowed with the leaked French promo.  It was interesting to play that way - if I had paid for it, I probably would still have fun.  But as a whole it didn’t push the series very much.  However, I didn’t really play any multiplayer, which usually keeps my attention quite a bit more.  I’m sure it’s a blast.

I played some of the original 2 Elder Scrolls, and again the third on a modded X-Box.  I didn’t get very far, but would have enjoyed doing more on it.  I saw how deep it was - man it was another life.

I like Wii bowling, tennis, baseball quite a bit.  Boxing just didn’t work for me.  I could block & dodge easily, but my guy would sometimes stand there and not punch while I was doing so like crazy.  I just couldn’t get him to swing most of the time, and while it was a workout, it just got me frustrated.  I won the first game, but every single one after that I couldn’t get him to do much…

  • Like I said before I’m not all that much into sports games on consul systems but I’m thinking of giving them a try on wii. Every one says it’s diffrent.
