I won’t likely be able to play again until tomorrow night or even Friday though.

no worries. feel free to edit your G turn as needed as long as it doesn’t affect my main russian moves. assuming you will guard berlin better, then also move my ships back to where they were.

I’ll note too that of course I’d rather play on without that mistake (because this has been quite a fun game to this point). The soviet edit absolutely triggered my awareness but it is something I should have caught. But given that this is a more significant edit than we normally do (and was almost certainly game deciding.) I’m not really comfortable claiming a victory here if I win from this point on. I thought of two options going forward. One, you are still playing for the win, but I’m just playing to avoid the loss. So if I manage to win I won’t claim victory. That still gives an incentive to both of us to play competitively but at least doesn’t reward me if I do manage to win.
Or you always have the option of making an edit that is equally significant or choose a battle to redo.

yeah no worries there, i’ve done similar favors in many of my past games, while i like to be competitive i still think this is all for fun in the end and so far this is turning out to be a fun one would be sad for it to be cut short. but agree we can go with option 2 if i miss something egregious like that then feel free to return the favor. otherwise we both play on for the win!
