Gna… I will have to switch 1 Fighter against a tact. Fighter as casuality, since 1 Fighter came from the Caroline Islands and did not take part in the attack. I will switch it on my Italian turn.
I switched that dude, since I forgot it on my Italian AND German turn.
Furhtermore I guess I did a small test run on some movements in China, but I noticed it was already a live game once I closed it. I were 2 battles I guess…just that you are aware, in case you received dice emails.
I like the idea with the Overflow boxes much better. is there a chance to write names or add the lands name as marker, to show which border they defend against?

Yea, Idk, I mean, the color scheme and the LM boxes saying which color defends where for high use TTys is where were at currently. The directional arrows you posted previously might work better.
Idk of an elegant solution. Can offer different unit images is all I can think of at this point.
Probably best to just document in comment log. It’s fairly easy to access. Or can always go pen and paper mode :)
Ahh … just rereading before I post. Hmm … might be able to make LMs that say what border they defend and they’d work like “Free Ships” in the timetable.
Hover and it will tell you which border.That actually seems promising. I will look into that some more. Good Idea !
Although with all the different possibillities, it might overwhelm changers edit window. Maybe I can make a new player that is “LM” and have LMs only. Or just do the high use areas.

I can still make a set of optional images, so one can use the ones they prefer. That might be a little harder for the solo LM as I struggle with that stuff, but the token ones would just need to be renamed.

Would still have to edit to Changer if overrun so it wouldn’t cause a battle. Have to edit anyways though, so w/e right lol

I have a outline for how LMs will work in the future. You’ll still be able to use them as they currently are and some of it, NCM for example, will have to play with dicebot and edit still.
F it here’s a quick rundown lol
The new LMs will be border specific for high use areas. The ones you can hover on. We can add to them as needed. Best not to overachieve though :)
They will also be Player specific as well as Changer Allied to everyone. So if overrun, you will switch to Changer to prevent a combat. If you don’t want to play with the new units, you just edit in Changer as we currently do.
But if you don’t want to … :)
They will have 1 “First Strike” at D2 in combat. If they hit, they will auto die and the unlucky sod who steps on it doesn’t get to fire back because he’s been blown to smithereens lol
If they don’t step on it or run over it, the LM won’t fire again during battle.
You’ll still have to not take as casualty, same as Fortifications, Air Transport, Early Transports etc …As mentioned above, if overrun, switch to Changer. if not, can leave as is.
When multiple borders are being defended and only one border is being crossed, hit edit perform move and move the non defending LMs out of the TTy so they won’t take part in the battle.
I’m going to make the impassable part of Greenland a LM TTy for them to temporarily move there. It will look the same map wise, you’ll just be able to move there.
After battle, move them back in ncm and if necessary, delete and edit in Changer units.
Anyway, that’s a quick rundown. Tested everything but Greenland, but confidence is extremely high that’ll work.
Dicked around with the solo LMs. Not the greatest image modification lol but it’ll be a alternate set for those that prefer a solo mine to a minefield look.
