    Lol I had to do that entire turn with an annoying line of German units running through the Soviet heartland… I couldn’t even see my units there :) I hope triplea fixes that issue at some point. Maybe an off-map box would be handy. A couple of units could be placed in this box and then represented on the map by a single token.


  • @victoryfirst yea so the way the overflow works is the last uniy placed flows either left or right. There’s a lot of improvements that could be done to make it more visually playable.

    For example, your latest Russian Battle we could put the German overflow up and to the right and it wouldn’t really mess with you that much.

    This is on the todo list but Idk how many I can get done before the next update. They will get done tho lol UK needs a redirect and some others.

    But yea, it can be fixed, just needs to be done :)

    @VictoryFirst actually this is fixed for Belarus right now. It’s kind of a quick hack job but better than harshing with the hitler youth right in your face lol

    @VictoryFirst also, in case you’re not aware of it, the “Territory” button upper right allows you to see what’s in a tty. Its pretty touchy though. You have to pick the tty with the cursor able to go to the top bar without it hitting another tty. Then move over to the right side bar and it’ll show whats there and you can scroll if needed.

    2.6 pre has an option that shows at the bottom bar what units are present, which is pretty handy.

    Yeah, with the Japanese having pushed through India, I don’t think the Allies can turn the tides at this point. So I think the Allies are forced to sign a peace treaty with the Axis…

    You played very well as the Axis, and as Japan in particular. You did a very good job taking and defending the money islands, which allowed you to earn a good stack of money. I wasn’t able to push through with my American boats, while I did spend a lot of money in the Pacific.

    For a first game, I think it went pretty well concerning the mechanics. The only thing that I think could be better is the naming of the Soviet Commissars. Instead of naming them Commissar 1,2 and 3 you could name them CommissarInf, CommissarArt, CommissarTank, and so fort. This way you can quickly see what Commisar to edit in, and also what units the Commissar is commanding. Same for the Waffen Führers. Might this be an idea?

    Would you like to have a rematch? I certainly do, it was very fun to play this game against a real opponent! Would you like to switch sides then, or do you want me to play as the Allies? You may decide!

  • @victoryfirst hey right arm :muscle: yea had a lot of fun. Solo play is better than nothing but dealing with unexpected is a different challenge.

    Give me a few days to fine tune an update and we can go again. Yea lets switch sides this time, unless prefer Allies again. Either way is fine.

    I like the idea on the commisar. I’ll think on it some. It requires quite a bit of a rewrite for them all, so might have to wait a while or do it next time.

    I want to redo Army Groups too. And change the overflows on some busy TTys.

    I’ll do a brief game report after bit if you want to comment on it.
