@Robert, Basile_01 I agree with @Maxiheimer … It was a really shitty round for the british, but it is not end-gaming… Germany is pretty weak in Europe and even though Japan is looking good, we all know that US still have the power to cripple either side if they wish to…
And if the british are in any way interested in keeping the communists alive they can do so for sure :D it’s up to you.

@Makalakalane : Since our first TripleA game, we’ve been using this calculator https://www.aatoolkit.com/conflict
Our background in stats/probability is rather limited (i took 1 class in University, not sure about @Basile_01 if his field demands knowledge in them) so we rely on external tools. Like @Basile_01 said, even with only 63% odds, I think we would have attempted it if we thought it was the best move (risks/rewards) considering other options. Us seeing 93% victory definitely made the attack a no-brainer.
It may sound like an excuse, but that’s really how we planned our turn. If the odds would have been unfavourable, maybe we would have done things differently.
Anyway, luck and back luck are part of the game!

I fully agree! i would have done the same!
But if the result of the battles could allways be calculated and relied upon, the game would be boring. Having to take chances and changing tactics accordingly makes it fun
