Not sure what to do here but I have an issue with the battle in sz 93. For starters during the first round of combat(MARTI and the history log call it round 2) since you got one hit I would have taken the hit on a sub not my Battleship. Secondly according to the history log during the 2nd round of combat (3rd round for the log and MARTI) My subs submerged and did not fight even though you still had a cruiser left. So without disturbing the dice results we already have I propose that starting in the second round of combat we roll one die for my lone sub if it hits your cruiser is dead and loses it hit, your fighter hit damages my BB and my BB hit kills your fighter so it would be my cr, dd, dmg BB vs your bomber and you can decide to retreat or not. Or if my sub misses your two hits stand i lose the sub and dmg the BB you lose the cruiser from my BB hit and its my cru, dd, dmg BB vs your fig , bomber with your option to continue or retreat. How does that sound to you? Hope it’s not to confusing but i think its right.

In these kind of situations I prefer to keep the original dice results as much as possible. Seems the most fair way to both players. The whole reason I had the subs in that sz were to be used as causulaties at all costs so I could hopefully damage your air force if you did decide to attack. I feel my solution in the last post is valid and fair to both of us. I can understand you thinking to damage the BB first an honest mistake but submerging my subs round 2 seems like a more aggregious error. So for me changing the damage allocation from round 1 and allowing my sub to fire in round 2 doesn’t upset the apple cart too much. But if you really don’t feel that way then I guess we wil play it as is. I don’t want one battle disagreement to taint the flavor of this game.

It doesn’t work quite that way. If you’re going to change the order of losses, I can change my decision to continue to battle based on that order of loss.
I am quite aware of how it works. For future reference if you assume OOL then you accept the risk that your opponent may disagree with you and gets the benefit of the doubt, per league rules. All that being said I agree with your solution to the battle. It seems to be the fairest way. Game on!
