The error message speaks for itself:
“Emails… are not registered. Please register…”.
Please note:
Starting from any time today the latest savegames seem to download incorrectly.
Please see this thread starting from
http://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?topic=38276.msg1574966#msg1574966
for further information.
Update:
It works again now. New savegames can be downloaded correctly from the forums.
But it appears that the savegames that were posted to the forum during the last about 24 hours
are still broken (filesize 0).
Thanks P@nther
The bug is back …
see latest savegame (Jap14) here: http://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?topic=36475.1635
Yes unfortunately. I tested it myself minutes ago.
I PMed djensen about this issue yesterday… will do it again now…
Note to TripleA-players:
In order to prevent from possibly recreating your moves always do a manual gamesave at the time you would otherwise post your move. You can send the savegames by mail, then.
In case you missed saving manually:
Check your savegame folder: TripleA does automatically save “autosave” files after every move and additionally after every round of play (even/odd).
So chances are that you have a quite new status of your games saved - check those autosaves and manually rename them, so they don’t become overwritten by the next turn or in case you have multiple games ongoing.
Actually, P@nther, I had manually saved the Jap14 turn that Elrood links to you above and did then save that file into that thread. However if is also corrupted. The Jap14 file on my PC is fine. The copy of it I posted into the thread is not. So e-mail is presumably the solution.
Cheers
PP
Thank you, PP. You are right of course. E-mail is the solution :-)
Still filesize is 0, the problem has not been solved, yet.
Now getting an error posting from Triple-A

Although I remember this from the past being a forum issue, too, it does not occur to me, at least not at this moment.
So maybe a (short) temporary issue.
Issue solved by djensen.

:-)
Good news. Good job.
Thanks to dj and P@nther.
Do people think a blanket delete of older games is okay? I remember a past suggestion that the last game save in each thread should be retained?

That was my suggestion. A blanket delete is fine if you retain a history of the game - My thinking is that the history is contained in the last savegame anyway. I wouldn’t want to have to scroll through the thread. Some may argue “why would you want to do that?”.
The only argument to keep older (than the latest) savegames in the forum thread that comes just to my mind could be that you want to continue a game from a certain point in the past.
The (TripleA-) built-in possibility to create a savegame at any point in the history and continue from there would kill this argument of course.
But I suppose this feature is rather unknown…

Looks like this issue occurs always on my laptop with 1.9. Google shows it not to be just a triple-A problem.
Any suggestions?
It has been a forum issue in the past, I don’t think it is an issue at your side.
I have been just looking at
http://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?topic=38470.0
It appears to work now?
Yes, seems to be working.
