Japan, China and South Korea should all slice up North Korea and solve that problem.
Interesting Military Title
-
I’ve come across a reference to a book published in Britain in 1801 that has one of those long titles which were commonplace in those days – and when I read it, my first thought was, “Gosh, parts of this title sound like a pretty good description of an Axis & Allies game.”
The first part of the title is simply “The Field of Mars,” but the part I really liked was the one that says, “Naval and Military Engagements in Europe, Asia, Africa, and America […] consisting of Attacks, Attempts, Actions, Battles, Blockades, Bombardments, Descents, Defeats, Engagements, Expeditions, Invasions, Reductions, Sea Fights, Storms, Sieges, Surprises, Repulses, and Skirmishes.” The list has a few arguable items in it (like “reductions”), but all in all it’s not bad from an A&A perspective. :-D
-
Reductions is another term for Attrition warfare.
-
I think it was also applied to certain siege warfare situations, as in “reducing a fortress.”
-
That sounds like a hell of a book and I understand what you mean about it sounding like A&A.
-
Attempts, Defeats and Repulses are my speciality! :cry:
-
@Private:
Defeats and Repulses are my speciality!
As long as it’s your opponent who’s being defeated and repulsed, this is not a problem. Quite the contrary, in fact.

@CWO:
I think it was also applied to certain siege warfare situations, as in “reducing a fortress.”
That is also true.

…now did this book also include blitzing, strafing, infantry push mechanic, deadzones and shuck shuck ?
