  • Man it really sucks for you that you can’t move your Chinese troops out of China.  China is now basically untouchable for me, but at the same time I can kind of afford to just ignore it now.

    Yeah that is indeed a weird rule. Like what is China stopping from entering Korea? It is very unrealistic.

    It also means, that you are basically unable to achieve Pacific Victory now for many rounds. But shall I therefore ignore Japan completely? Can’t do that either. Weird situation.

    I think the rationale has something to do with China fighting a civil war at the same time as fighting the Japanese, so they basically don’t have time or the proper organization to be dealing with the outside world.  Luckily I’ve conquered enough other territory so that I don’t need China to gain an economic edge.  Pacific Victory was never feasible in this game from the start given your massive investment in the Pacific by the US - just staying as strong as I can and diverting your resources away from Europe and depleting your Asian-based income is the goal at this stage.
