    well well.  my major operation just went pretty badly south.  that’s too bad, i was going to put some real hurt on ya if i could clear NW persia.  i ran it twice in local before running the actual and cleared it both times.  :-(

    you got the best of me in every battle, the NW persia battle was extremely huge by the way.  i can’t really stress that enough.

    but to add salt to the wounds, you also hit in normandy then got max convoy disruption in normandy…  :lol:

    i guess as they say, when it rains it pours…

    looking back, if i had just run the NW persia battle first, i would have cleared it without loss (the way the dice came out).  well, i hope in the end that single battle doesn’t decide the game, but i have a gut feeling that i just took a big hit that i may not be able to survive.

    the ftr came from southern italy.  if you declare war on the true neutrals, you can fly over them.  so the ftr flew over turkey.  it was all carefully planned, which means it was almost guaranteed to fail.  :|

    the most frustrating thing to me about this game is when a guy thinks he is beating you badly but you have a move to give you the advantage and it flops terribly.  :-P
