UK collects the unspent IPCs of the Germany’s player, then, even if its own capital is in enemy’s hands. See page 21 of the Europe 1940.2 rulebook.
Release Date

know that you and Razor are pretty close, so could you ask him where he got his info? Thank you.
Per Questioneer
Consider this OFFICIAL - got an e-mail from Greg Smorey- AA Tourny director for GenCon- WOTC has confirmed that the date has been pushed back a month. Other official playtesters have confirmed this as well.
Release date for Europe 1940 is mid August this year.
-
Thanks johnnymarr, I am convinced the release date is pushed back.
But what I want to know is whether or not Smorey will still be showing it at his Spring Gathering.
-
I think the question was answered in another forum and the answer was no. Don’t quote me on this though.
-
Does it really matter….P40 takes so long to play by forum. Making moves is like giving birth…I’m attacking sz41…are you scrambling…if so, with what…order of loss please…oh, you want to declare it rd by rd…ok declare them then roll your losses… your internet was down for a millenium, no problem…what side am I again…okay I’ll post after I run out and buy more Depends because I’ve soiled myself because I’m an octagenarian now…
Who has the balls to play global
LOL…very true…I almost died laughing at this post.

@Yoper:
He wasn’t even going to have a copy of the game for the event. He was going to just bring his playtest copy of the game.
Well he must still have that. Any chance of a sneak peak?
-
they are SO strict….
-
Yeah but are they legally empowered to stop somebody showing their game? I mean - they’re just officials, right? What can they do - make a citizen’s arrest?
-
Before you become a playtester, you must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement. This is a legal document that states that you agree not to make any information about the game public before either the publisher makes it public (releases or previews the game) or gives you permission to make it public.
This doesn’t allow the publisher to stop you from showing the game prematurely, but it does allow them to severely punish you with legal action for doing so. Of course, aside from legal issues, there is also the moral obligation to honor any agreement that you have entered into with the publisher. Violating the agreement would also ensure that you would never be a playtester again.
-
Thank you for explaining that, Krieghund.

Maybe a month after will be the announcement of it’s release. But you can bet the errata will be out the day of.
-
Well, for that we would be grateful - really enjoyed the AAP40 one. :-)

As with the Pacific game, I would suspect that WotC will send a copy of the game to DJensen for him to preview right here on A&A.org about a month before it is due to be released to the public.
True…so late July we should have some pics of the board, pieces and material at least. Maybe a peek at the global rules and such too. Oh boy… only 4 looooooooooooooong months to go!!! :-(
