In hindsight my OOL should have been dd tac cv, more attacking power rnd 2 and only loosing a fig if you retreat. The way it played out I would have taken the 2nd round hit on the cv. All in all, some nice exchanges to clean up the north Atlantic.

yeah, if I remember correctly, i only got one hit in the second round, if you had tipped the CV at that time I might have pulled the plug on round 3, not sure. A damaged CV in the middle of the ocean wasn’t much threat but “kill it dead” is usually a good policy too.
