    Yes, that was highly annoying that I didn’t manage to take egypt… (0/5! hits). You can actually manage to keep your medfleet alive for several turns if you play carefully, or at least have the allies pay costly for destroying it. In this scenario that’s was not the case obviously.
    Now the game will take a different turn. The initial battles for the germans have a huge impact on how the game is continued… Note that I consider this opening even a bit conservative for the germans. You can be even more aggressive and succeed.

    I am not aware of other rules than in this game. When you say 2-hit AC, you mean that both fighters are defending? I thought that was the norm.
