Welcome to the forum. :slightly_smiling_face:
From the rulebook, page 11:
“Movement into a hostile territory counts as a combat movement whether that space is occupied or not.”
I’m wondering if this rule change was noted by everyone but me until now? Un-escorted transports can be attacked by one ship from a fleet passing thru a seazone containing containing them. Page 11 “It is possible that some units may stop to attack while others continue moving through the sea zone”
As long as one warship is allocated to destroy the transports, the rest can continue but not the allocated warship. It stays in place and ends movement.
That prevents someone from using Transports as cheap “blocking” units to delay heavier, more meaningful attacks.
right.
