Thanks! it makes sense
Giant Australian Infantry

Them Aussies sure eat right. They stand head and shoulders above the rest.
I was pretty excited to see the Aussies get their own mold, but must admit that I am slightly disappointed to see that the inf are not in the same scale …

Hmm, yes I must admit I’m not too happy about this myself and will decide what to do about it when I get my copy of the game. Thanks for the pic though.

We have all had a laugh over that, Jim.
Then a cry.
Is not right. -
The giant digger can sail around in his giant aircraft carrier.
The microcephaly also doesn’t help. Bad sculpt all around. -
An appeal to HBG needs to be made to correct this!

Wasn’t the average Australian soldier a head taller than the average Japenese one?
-
I guess they evolved differently than the British? :P
Or… well, Maybe the brit is just slouched over too much… :P
-
My AAE40 SE Italian infantry are nearly falling forward, enough that some won’t stand. I figured it was some sort of statement about the Italian army’s penchant for surrendering…
-
I wasn’t happy with that. They stand out and look funny. :-(

Which ones? The crouching Italians or the giant Australians?
For the record, I appreciate the new AAE40 SE sculpts despite the crushed-looking Italian infantry that fall over on the map. While the French are bit players in 1940 (1939 Sept. hint, hint…I’m working on some scenarios) I wish they had actually been done using French rather than Russian gear. It is a cosmetic thing, but the short-lived French seem to deserve it.

Both of them
