Unit Abreviations

Can anyone list all the proper unit Abreviations in Global. Ex: Aircraft Carrier = CV, Transport = TT, I want to label my trays.

And it’s AP, not TT, if you want to be comply with historic nomenclature.  It’s only TT if you’re going by DD, BB, SS as a template and don’t know why it’s not TT.

Complete list of pieces now would be…

BB - Battleship
CA - Cruiser
CV - Carrier
DD - Destroyer
SS - Submarine
AP - Transport (Auxiliary - Personnel in case you’re curious)

Use a universal 3 letter system.

It is far superior, and people will understand it.

You won;t have people asking where the A in Cruiser is, or the second B in Battleship.

Thanks Kcdzim. I will continue to call a Transport a TT, because it is easy and I do not learn new tricks easily.

This is pretty much the standard list used by 99.9999% ( Villains and 2nd graders being the sole exception).

I would use Tank due to that is another letter lost. It’s better to get educated and use the standard NAVY acronyms. Takes like 10 seconds to commit to memory.

If you are adamant that you want to use the naval system, then may I reccomend that you use a 3 letter system for the non naval elements remaining?  that way if it’s a boat, it’s 2 letters, if its ground or air you use 3 letters.  And it all looks good.
