Classic vs Classic 2nd Edition

I recently received a copy of the original Classic rules (1984).  Anyone know what the main differences between that and Classic 2nd Edition (1986) were?  From my understanding, they both used the same game board and pieces…

My memory is hazy about this (I’m writing from the office and my rulebooks are at home), but I think the second edition came with a set of “revised orders” which described some rule changes.

Two of the differences I remember were you could attack with a multi-national force and you could put unlimited units out at your factory regardless of where it was placed, and take unlimited damage.

Thanks.  A friend and I have wanted to play all the versions of the game just to get a feel for them.  So far, we have played Classic 2nd Ed, 1942, 1942 2nd Ed, Global 1940, and both variants of Anniversary.  I just ordered Revised, found the rules of Classic, and Global 1942.  I just want to make sure we are playing them “correctly”.

Soy de argentina y aqui no se consigue el juego y hay muchos pronlemas con las importaciones.
si podrian conserguirme tanto el manual con el tablero y las targetas y lo que se pueda hacer impreso les agradeceria, estoy ancioso por querer jugar, las fichas las reemplazare de otra forma. o de ser posible si ustedes pueden enviarmelo a argentina buscariamos la forma de realizar el negocio.
