Prostitution
-
No harm in asking, but how old were these “child” prostitutes? I find it disturbing grown men have to indulge themselves on little kids. That’s just wrong no matter how you look at it.
-
I definitley agree with moses Using a child for Sex is Discusting and Pathetic. and i feel in the bottom of my heart that Child mollestors and Rapists should be executed after they are proven guilty.

wow Moses, you’re even more naive than i am. There’s (grotesquely enough) a huge market for these girls (even younger than 10!!!).
lots of efforts are going on to clamp down on import of these girls from S.E. Asia right now . . . plus you have other girls (usually native in Canada) as well. -
If you were to legalize Prostitution, you’d have to do the same for Drugs.

personally i do not think so yanny. just givin my 2 cents ;)

And I know of such underage prostitutes (usually girls in their mid-late that have run away from home or having to support their family), but childs? I never encountered any prostitutes before adolescence on the streets of LA (unless you’re willing to include “midgets”). I have heard of the SE Asia prostitute trade (though this is mainly behind closed doors) on the local news, but never of children so young. Oh well, I guess I will have to look into that then. :(

It is pathetic. I have so much bitterness and hate when I see former “friends” dropping out of school to conduct their “buisness.” But that comment on child molesters and rapist – you may not be far from the truth. Though the courts may not execute these perverts, criminals in jail don’t take kindly on them to say the least. There have been many reports of deaths by beatings, stabbing, and homosexual acts on such individuals because even the lawbreakers themselves find child molestation so heinous and despicable. I do too
-
The prostitutes which I am refering to were between 14 and 17.
Prostitution is dangerous and damaging both mentaly, emotionally, and physically.
We could fund the kind of programs I talked about with stiff fines from johns caught in the act.
And pimps who pimp minors get charged with kidnapping in addition to pimping.
-
@Anonymous:
But the fact is; if we legalize it, we could give them room, condom, so none of them are subject of violent behavior.
Are you actually willing to spend tax dollars so that other people can go have sex? You’ve got to be kidding me…
-
“The prostitutes which I am refering to were between 14 and 17.”
I wouldn’t call it child prostitution then.
“Are you actually willing to spend tax dollars so that other people can go have sex? You’ve got to be kidding me…”
And yet we are willing to spend tax dollars to prevent other people from having sex (government crack down on prostitution)? You’ve got to be kidding me…

Then you are Fucking screwd up. Think about this: what if a pimp pimped your sister? What would you call it? Regular Fucking Prostitution?
Sometimes I can’t understand how you and your sister could even be related. I guess mental illness skips parts of some generations.
Not Child Prostitution? Are you kidding me? A 14 year old. YOu are sick Moses.

Watch the language, pal! :o
First of all, I don’t consider teenagers to be mere “children.” They are smart enough to make their own decisions (no matter how stupid they seem) and aren’t all do-gooders or what not. Under your guidelines, would you still consider a lot of us, children? (Assuming some of the forum members here are in there early-late teens). What you are talking about is more of underaged prostitution, something that is (sadly enough) very common in society. Those in underaged prostitution often choose their lives voluntary, though their current situation lures them to it (lack of emotional and family stability, poverty, rebellion/free expressionism, ect). This I would still consider rape, though a little more on statutory grounds.
However, cases of involuntary underaged prostitution still happen (kidnapping, immigration, ect.). Child prostitution, however, is more often against the “givers” own will and they lack the common knowledge to understand the significance of what they are doing. This I would consider rape in the first degree – totally unjustified, even if the parents and child consent to it – it is still wrong IMHO.
“what if a pimp pimped your sister?”
I trust my sister is smart enough to make her own decisions in life (like religion). If she wants to selfishly throw her life away to be a whore, then so be it. I could try to talk her out of it, keep her under close surveillance, but if her will to be a prostitute is strong enough, then I can do nothing to stop her. Luckly, my sister is quite nice and she’s bright enough to know what the awful consequences are of choosing that beaten “road.”
“Then you are Fucking screwd up!”
“I guess mental illness skips parts of some generations.”
“YOu are sick Moses”Ad Hominem. I do not need to respond to that
-
relax YB. i think that there is a maturity issue here wrt teenagers. Some are very precocious. Just as some adults lack the maturity for sex of any kind. I think that some teens may choose to throw their lives away at a young age. Just 'cuz Moses doesn’t believe that they are necessarily “CHILD” prostitutes doesn’t make him a sicko, but more of an arguer over semantics - especially where 16/17 y/os are concerned.
You both know i am anti-prostitution, particularly child prostitution, but at the same time, let’s not turn a 16 y/o into a victim unnecessarily, especially when there are so many 12 y/o’s trapped in an evil life.
(yes FinsterniS - i said EVIL) -

Sorry, I getupset when someone minimalizes child abuse
@TG:
teenagers are smart enough to make their own decisions
By your logic, we should let teenagers all at the booze, drugs, prostitution, etc. I mean its not as if they are naturally immature, self-destructive, and often incapable of making even marginal decisions [sarcastic]
@TG:
I trust my sister to make her own life
Yes, but what if her best friend dies and she starts getting into drug abuse? Or some pimp tries to take advantage of her self-esteem? Are you going to stand by?
On a side note, this is all hypothetical, Moses’ sister appears (in my opinion) even more competent than her brother, and in general he appears very competent (except for the whole Conservative label thing).
I mean Moses, you have federal agents taking down child pornographers, and this is the same.
-
“Sorry, I getupset when someone minimalizes child abuse”
I also get upset when someone maximizes other subjects. 4/5’s of the African population will die off in the next 20 years – right… is there anything else you can say to scare away foreign investment? I get angry too went cases of child abuse arise (today we had a case of the kidnapping and murder of a girl only 6 years old in Orange Country—sexual abuse by the serial killer [still a large] might have been involved.). However, you don’t see me saying, “F– you!” to those who put this at a “minimum.” Heh, maybe it was my “Athiest” parents who taught me moral #4: “Don’t let your anger get the better of you.”
“By your logic, we should let teenagers all at the booze, drugs, prostitution, etc. I mean its not as if they are naturally immature, self-destructive, and often incapable of making even marginal decisions [sarcastic]”
Uh… no offense, but you haven’t seen teenagers drinking “booze,” doing “drugs,” or becoming “Prostitutes?” Does a “legal age” stop them from needlessly destroying their lives? I agree that a lot of teenagers will self destruct, and I’ve seen many make some of the worst decisions they can ever make in their life. Have I tried to stop those that I know who are about to destroy themselves? Yes. Have they ever listened? Some do, most don’t.
It’s also interesting to point out that you see many more “teens” in California being charged with “adult crimes” (meaning the punishments for the minors, if convicted, are treated as adults). Just the other day (yes, a lot of bad things happen in LA), 3 teenagers (in their late teens, one was even the son of a sheriff) were charged as adults for the gang rape of an female (16, I believe) against her will. These twisted sickos (interesting how you would consider me a sicko, no?) even videotaped the incident. I hope, if found guilty, they are locked away for a long, long time.
”Yes, but what if her best friend dies and she starts getting into drug abuse? Or some pimp tries to take advantage of her self-esteem? Are you going to stand by?”
Please read my comment, “could try to talk her out of it, keep her under close surveillance, but if her will to be a prostitute is strong enough, then I can do nothing to stop her.” Drug abuse because her best friend died? Enroll her in treatment (though this has more to do with sudden mental depression). Pimp taking advantage of self-esteem? If she had a low self-esteem in the first place, I would consider myself a failure as a brother. Still try to talk her out of it (maybe even keeping her under lock and chain), but if she refuses and her will is just too strong, I’m afraid there’s not much even the Great Moses can do.
”On a side note, this is all hypothetical, Moses’ sister appears (in my opinion) even more competent than her brother, and in general he appears very competent (except for the whole Conservative label thing).”
I try to limit myself to maybe one personal attack per day – so I go out and say, “TM Moses, you are the most incompetent, naïve little brat I have had the pleasure of meeting!” You tell her that. You tell her word for word.
”I mean Moses, you have federal agents taking down child pornographers, and this is the same.”
I have federal agents? Ha, must be my Westside Connections. Child pornography is just wrong – a notch below Child Prostitution – but both will get you a ticket straight to Hell. Greaaaattt… now I’m starting to believe in Hell… what is wrong with me? But as an intresting side note, minors shouldn’t have access to pornography, correct? Funny how you still see this happening all the time – esp. those with Internet and without parental supervision. :o
“Who watches the watchmen?”

Wow, I think I hit a nerve. You seem like you need some sleep Moses.
Moses, I understand that for example the legal drinking age does not stop minor use of alchohol. But I believe that it lowers it. Look at illegal drugs. Rich whites use more drugs than poor minorities. Why? Because it is easier to get them. Age restrictions add a layer of difficulty, decreasing the amount of ounces of alchohol consumed each day by minors.
I’m sorry about yelling at you. My anger is not at you, it is at the the pimps of the prostitutes on the show I watched, at the 3 boys you desacribed, at NAMBLA.

Ahh, YB, it always seems i’m disagreeing with you, except about communisum.
I drank way more alcohol before I was 18( the legal drinking age in my home province) than I ever did after.
Suddenly when it was legal for me to drink, it wasn’t as “cool” to be doing it.
The novelty had worn off. When you can’t do or have something the more you want it.
There is a psychological term for that, but I cant think of it right now

yeah, i had a much greater desire to be a prostitute when i was 15 and 16 then i do now. after a while, these kids grow up :)

Yes, I don’t liked being branded with such discriminating and fraudulent names as “sick, mentally ill, or Fucking screwd up.” :o

Refer to Horten’s graph on the increase of alcohol consumption from Prohibition when looking into this. Furthermore, I don’t think those graphs cover home distilleries, wine bricks, or other such methods of obtaining alcohol (many alcoholics would actually go so far as to drink the antifreeze from their car!). This would raise the “bar” even higher. Additionally, when looking at those who turn away from alcohol due to legal requirements, you most look at those who indulge in alcohol because of the very fact that it is illicit (people coveting what they cannot have). I would definitely fit in the latter category. As Mr Ghoul put it, “Suddenly when it was legal for me to drink, it wasn’t as “cool” to be doing it. The novelty had worn off.”
In the case of drugs being legalized, it would be much easier and cheaper to obtain drugs, unlike “junkies” who have to often have to result to personal debt and criminal activity to fulfill their needs. For example, the price of 1 ounce of pure opium in India can cost as low as 12 cents, while in American, that very gram it can reach 2 grand. Without a restriction on drugs, people would be able to obtain purer drugs instead of buying heavily cut drugs that often lead to overdose.
“yeah, i had a much greater desire to be a prostitute when i was 15 and 16 then i do now. after a while, these kids grow up”
I don’t know about you CC, but my desire to become a prostitute has grown even stronger! (j/k)
 -
Moses, Ghoul, while I agree that there is the lure of the forbidden, I don’t know that your story is neccessarily the same with everyone. Overrall, the easier it is to get Beer, the more people will drink. That is why drinking fell during prohibition. Not that limits actually stop people, but they do slow them down.
CC, what do you mean you “had” a desire becoem a prostitue. We all know that medical school was your second choice after HOE-vard.
At least Moses is being honest about it. :) -
@TG:
The komet looked a bit too cramped if you ask me. When I first saw it in person, I was like, “Hey, where’s the rest of it?” Also, the problem with the Komet (besides the frequent explosions) was that its landing made it very difficult to avoid Allied ftrs. And how long was the powered flight?
wow! i envy you! I saw a v2 rocket, v1, mig 15, Me262, a bunch of planes in Arizona, but you saw a Me163!
Now we gotta break in and see the Gotha 229.
