hey guys, sorry for the late proposal, just catching up here. I thought for sure there’d be another round after the round robin. could we take the top 4 after round 1 and have them play in a semifinals? and then round 3 could be the finals? I think that’d make it much more exciting! and what’s 2 more games for the top 4 anyway, not that much? and if the next top 4 wanted to have a bracket for the junior championship, that would be great too, but that could be optional
Definitely possible, 9 games is already quite a lot. The format also makes no need for an endgame, unless there are 3 teams on the same score who have evenly distributed direct encounters between them.
If the participants want it as part of the tournament, it’s no problem to include it.
Actually, we can process this now or at the end of the tournament. No stress.

just add it, no one objecting means there is full consent. go for it, add it to the rules, a finals bracket will be fun, also gives those eliminated and on the sidelines some competitive matches to enjoy watching! but there can be two finals brackets, so most teams will qualify for one or the other

Ok, I’ve set it up. I think. We can give it a try.
It now requires all of the participants to join challonge. After that, it’s possible to create a team, which will then be able to enter the tournament.
It is found here.
If not all 20 players do this, I won’t be able to host the tournament there.
Anyway, I’m pretty content with keeping stuff here in the forum and eventually results in a spread-sheet.
It’s mainly up to us as a group how we want to proceed.

Apart from your team-mate needing to join as well, you also need to construct a team (same name as here, of course). It’s pretty easy and found in the user settings.
