The AA curse continues. Losing a bomber on its maiden bombing run makes a big difference from being shot down on its 4th-6th run. Now UKPac can build without repairing. Now I’ve got more transports than I can use, so losing one to you on your turn won’t hold me back. But I need troops, DD’s and subs. Luckily for Japan, the U.S. only has 2 ships in the Hawaii/W.C. pipeline. I used to put more emphasis on troops in China, with early factories and armor. Now I’ve learned that as long as Japan can project power from centralized locations; it can tie down the Chinese and Indians.defensively.

Letting the Allies get a foothold into the Med & Europe via Gibraltar, was a problem that I saw, but because you did such an excellent job of consolidating, that I didn’t have the resources to oppose it. Also, Egypt never had many troops, but its still out of reach. UK’s African troops can move or be convoyed back to Egypt next turn. 4 UK Transports!

Actually, 5! I built a transport in Canada. My strategy for the UK Navy is to never leave the Med if I can help it. I don’t like to do the Taranto raid, as that gives a death sentence to the British Carrier. So the fleet just sails back and forth to the West and to the East, and threatens everything in the Med…

I haven’t been able to chase you out of Bry, like you did to me. Building in Greece was a big reason for fewer troops on the eastern front, but there are other differences in our situations from the prior game. Germany earns more, but has to spend more for mobile units. Japan is not gobbling up Russian territory, but Russia is keeping a large army in the east and the Mongols haven’t joined the war. So that may be a wash.

Since UKPac chose to send a fighter away, I will take advantage of it and bomb again. Hopefully cause enough damage to limit your builds. The Russian move back to the border caused me to buy 9 ground troops in Japan and no ships. I’ve faced large Russian, Chinese and Indian armies simultaneously before and I beat them, one or two at a time. But don’t remember if I won that game.
