Yes you are using an older version, as I am not able to open your save files and I have the latest version. However that issue you are bringing up is really weird and should not be caused by the older version I think. I don’t know what could be going on, that issue has never happened to me.

I suggest you use the newest version next time and see if it comes up again somewhere.

@simon33 I think @Arthur-Bomber-Harris would have something to say about this…He’s a big proponent of dark skies and having played against him, it’s not so easy to dismiss. The reach of bombers in the European map is quite effective. And yes the Allies can buy more CVs + ftrs, but that slows down their invasion time tables and allows the Germans to advance.

Also to your question about the strategic bombers, they serve two primary roles for Germany:
Giving a large threat range where the Allies must protect their fleet, especially transport flotillas; Strategic bombing of Moscow
Strategic bombing of London is also useful, but early damage in Moscow before it gets stocked with Allied (UK typically) fighters can pay serious dividends.

Generally I feel Europe OOB needs an Allied bid, which is usually going to to go to the UK since they are the only power that start at war with the Axis. So handicapping them is harder, and Sealion is typically not an appealing trade-off against skilled opponents.
