yeah youre on the right track. I align the battle calculator to what actually happened. So if someone fought two rounds on the east front and retreated, I set the calc to a two round strafe and in that case compare average pieces left over for both sides.

In a battle that is 92% attacker win and the attacker wins, I go off average attacker pieces left.

In a battle that is 92% and the attacker loses, I go off average pieces left over for both sides.

I’ll make a short video critique of this first turn and demonstrate how I do the calculations at the same time if I can find some time tomorrow.

Forgot to mention: In this timeline the Cold War would be much more favorable to the American side, as the USSR would have a much harder time turning China Red. The early forced decolonization may give the communists an edge in Africa and Southeast Asia though. That would depend on how nice the Western Allies are to the citizens of those regions after kicking the Japanese out.
