@DoManMacgee @VictoryFirst I was about to advocate for dropping the pre-game 12 IPC for Germany, removing a single sub from the Bay of Biscay AND removing an infantry from Romania.

If this has the affect that I think it will, I will not recommend removing the infantry from Romania and instead recommend the removal of the pre-game 12 IPC and single submarine from Bay of Biscay.

And to rephrase what I said above: I think capturing the convoy centers is worth more than killing the Allied naval units, mostly because in the latter case there is some risk involved.

I looked, and I have only been to round 15 once since 2016, which was 17 rounds with farmboy in championship last year (where you play games out longer to make sure)

I have played 84 games of G40 since it came out, and only 5 other games went farther than this point, so I’m pretty excited to be in these unusual situations we have going. It seems like the other “kids” get these wild games (still much wilder than this) but they don’t usually turn out that way for me.

I acknowledge again, I wouldn’t have made it anywhere near this far without dice assists multiple times. You are my nemesis, I am just trying to tie it up 1-1!

Also, I only have ONE GAME longer than 18, which was 27 vs. Ghost for the 2014 championship

@SuperbattleshipYamato Yeah after taking a crash course/refresher on what went down during the interwar period in the Pacific it’s crazy to think that with some tweaking Japan and a version of China could have wound up as BFFs instead of arch-enemies.

In most history classes in the US the European side of things gets covered in detail (well only post 1933. H-Man’s rise is usually just handwaved as "evil man came out of NOWHERE and TOOK OVER German FOR NO REASON). Japan is typically just portrayed as an opportunistic backstabber of a country that was bullying China, who was facing internal divisions for vaguely explained reasons.
