It would have been far better to have kept another 2 fighters in Moscow, although this does open up Norway for the Allies to control.

The bigger mistake was having the Chinese stack leave Yunnan in the first place.

You are right, not sure why I didn’t see that. Thanks for pointing out. I would’ve instead placed equal armies of 2 infantry, 1 artillery, and 3 tanks. Let’s say the casualties are the same. In that case I would have left in G36 2 infantry and 2 armour. Are you OK with that?
