I believe Moscow will be 80% or better for the Germans pending the next two turns of dice. I don’t see it being worse than 80% for the Germans. This opener for Germany has very, very little risk - is highly repeatable and was very much ‘on rails’ for dice. Please do everything you can to stop me. No funny business from me on this end. I’m coming to crush Moscow.

I don’t necessarily think it is an issue that it makes BBs a better naval combat unit than any others. One is still going to need destroyers and subs (and I believe that subs are still going to be a more efficient buy as an offensive combat unit and as cannon fodder for already large fleet battles) And carriers are often going to be a more advantageous buy because one already has the air or one will need air because of its flexibility.

As Axis I don’t see much opportunity to spam these until Japan runs out of air to put on carriers.

My worry though will be that it gives the allies an option to spam them to counter the Japanese navy or to minimize the threat of German air to Allied ships. Although if hte allies are building too many of these, their naval strength may be offset by the lack of air.

You are probably right that 16 is too low, but we are just trying it out to see how it plays.
