@farmboy playoff games are so close that one extra artillery can have a huge swing in decision making. There is no way I would allow a NG infantry as part of the bid unless discussed pre-bid. It is way too beneficial for just 3 PUs, of similar cost/benefit as a Scotland fighter.

GG, that’s a German victory. Moscow cannot be held, and there is no chance of me taking Berlin.

Hehe I now realized I played the Germans horribly in our first game. I even was forced out of East Poland at some point, while you are now in front of Moscow and about to take it. Sure I learned a lot from this game. Would you like to play again and switch sides?

Yeah, everytime I start a game and try to set it up using play by forum, it tells me the I am not registered. but I am registered here and on triplea. so really not sure what is going on. Im able to play by forum when someone else sets it up, like you just did for me. its crazy

@SuperbattleshipYamato Worth remembering that with the right bid you can change the odds further (and perhaps also avoid bringing the carrier in). And as Andrew notes, the surviving units should take out some German air. And the Italians not only lose most of their fleet, but get convoyed in round 1. That being said, in my allied play I tend to prefer Gibastion.
