You have to transport them true, so their use is a bit more limited but you still transporting inf to europe anyway. With radar it might be worth it those 3 dice @2 are quite painfull. So you force germany to use more land forces in the west to take your beachhead or risk aircraft being destroyed.

If germany cant trade cheap in the west that gives russia more room as well.

Honestly I almost didn’t Sealion. I was looking at Novgorod and could wipe that stack. Send 2 bombers + the DD to cover the amphib. Following up with a purchase of 9 or 10 mechanized units in Germany built this round to go East, and a couple extra planes buy the next round and 3 more mechs in Leningrad to coordinate for a Moscow attack in 3 turns. Without some divine intervention I think I had a really good shot at taking it.

As it is with all those ground units surviving for me in UK it’s going to be a harder time for the US to threaten Western Europe than I expected. The full swing to the Caribbean is a big move, Italy’s going to be starved into submission quickly I think.
