Avalon Hill published the latest in their previewa of Axis & Allies: Contested Skies, to be released on March 24, 2006. In this preview we get to see the card for the Brtish 40mm Bofors L60 and the Soviet 82mm PM-37 Mortar. The interesting ability for the mortar unit is that it has indirect fire. If you have a forward observer unit, you can use indirect fire. The preview also has pictures of 2, yet to be named, units.

The Axis & Allies Miniatures FAQ was updated today with erata changes for the upcoming release of Contested Skies. There seems to be quite a bit of changes due to the addition of the air units in the new expansion set.

In this preview we get the stats for the Soviet Katyusha Rocket Launcher and the German Whirlwind anti-aircraft/anti-personel weapon. We also get a preview two more minis: another plane and what looks like a forward observer.
